Final Fantasy Type-0 Playable Demo Coming Soon

Not sure about Final Fantasy Type-0? You’ll be able to try it before you buy. Square Enix announced they will release a "Summer’s day trial version" of the game.

The news comes from Famitsu magazine leaks, which notes the playable demo will be free. Square Enix have not announced a release date for the demo. Since it’s a summer version it should come out before the game’s October 13 release date in Japan.

Final Fantasy Type-0 Demo Detailed

A few more details about the Final Fantasy Type-0 playable demo slipped out. According to Famitsu leaks, the demo will have at least four missions.



Operation Empire Escape (difficulty level: normal) – the first mission you can choose, a battle with Byakko troops.
Giudecca Battle (difficulty level: hard) – reach the destination and take out the Soryu army. It’s recommended to use Shiva here.
Operation Rush the Big Bridge (difficulty level: very hard) – reach the destination and take out Empire units. You’ll find several pieces of magic armor here. Again, summons are recommended.
Operation Breakthrough the Heart of the Enemy (difficulty level: impossible) – a clash with the Empire army in a forest. Players are advised to level up their characters and enhance their equipment before taking on this stage.



Famitsu says players will be able to use the following characters and commands in the demo. (T – triangle, C – circle, S – square, X – cross)

Banpresto PSP Game to Assemble Heroes From 10 Anime

This week's issue of Enterbrain's Weekly Famitsu magazine is announcing on Thursday that Banpresto is developing Heroes Fantasia, a PSP game that assembles the characters from 10 anime: Slayers Revolution, Orphen, Rune Soldier, R.O.D -Read or Die-, Sgt. Frog (Keroro Gunsō), Blood+, s-CRY-ed, My-HiME, Darker than BLACK, and Darker than Black: Ryūsei no Gemini.

The game is set in the real world and a world called Adoroasu, and the player forms a party of characters from the different anime. Between using their own unique attacks in battles, the characters will interact with each other in conversation scenes.
