The brand-new Code Geass anime: CODE GEASS Star Chaser Aspal (or G-ASPAL for short) set in a completely different universe from any previous works, has announced its first teaser trailer.
From what we have here, our guess is that this new series will be set in a medieval fantasy universe, with the designs for, I assume, this universe's Knightmares being more organic and sleeker, like creatures powered by magic (imagine a creature-like, magic-powered Aleksander from Akito The Exiled).
Personally, I like this bold move. The staff wants to make something vastly different from what we have ever seen before, stepping out of the comfort zone that we temporarily called: the Lelouch-verse. Hell, if this becomes a success, maybe we will have alternative universes and explore numerous possibilities with Geass.
