Darksiders, tựa game do Vigil Games phát triển, dựa trên truyền thuyết về 4 kỵ sỹ thời thượng cổ, đã ra mắt vào tháng 1 cho PS3 và Xbox 360. Giờ đây đến lượt các game thủ trên PC sẽ được trải nghiệm game.

“Cuối cùng Darksiders cũng đã có mặt trên PC”, Travis Plane, phó giám đốc bộ phận quản lý thương hiệu toàn cầu của THQ cho biết. “THQ đang tập trung mang những tựa game lớn đến với người chơi game trên PC, vì vậy Vigil đã được hỗ trợ tối đa để tối ưu hóa tựa game khi phát triển trên hệ PC”.

Về cốt truyện của game, Darksiders kể về thời thượng cổ trong truyền thuyết. Bị lừa dối bởi các thế lực hắc ám về ngày tận thế của loài người, WAR – kỵ sĩ đầu tiên trong truyền thuyết Apocalypse – phải quay trở lại Trái đất để truy tìm sự thật và trừng phạt những kẻ dính líu. WAR phải chiến đấu chống lại lực lượng của cả Thiên đường và Địa ngục, cố gắng duy trì sự tồn tại trên Trái đất để thực hiện sứ mệnh trả thù của mình.

Người chơi sẽ vào vai WAR, kế thừa sức mạnh kinh người cũng như những khả năng siêu nhiên để tiêu diệt kẻ thù cản đường tiến của hắn. Sở hữu lượng vũ khí đồ sộ, khả năng hủy diệt gần như mọi thứ, Darksiders tỏ ra là một game rất đáng quan tâm trong năm nay.
