Will it be possible to destroy fuselage of the plane (it only turns black at the moment and you get thrown out from the plane)
When the aircraft fuselage gets destroyed – tail boom gets destroyed (tail rips off), or later on (wing/wings fall off), in some cases engine dies. Described situation looks like it was a pilot snipe.
How will damage on the ground forces be shown in Graphic model? Will we be able to see shell impacts from exactly where tank was hit or it will be similar to planes currently – consistent-looking damage of each module
All damage will be visible – penetrated hits, non penetrated hits, fragmentation hits. Like with the planes, damage will be calculated on the server side and it will be possible to see slight deviation between place of hit that player saw and place of hit that server 'saw'.
Will the ground vehicles lose parts of them on critical hits (for example, will they lose armour protection plates, part of the tracks, small pieces on the tank itself, etc)?
Yes they will.
Game play
Will we have change of day and night during one session of the Full Real Battles (SB)?
Not planned in the nearest future. Even in a long sessions (one or two hours) you only would be able see difference on sunset or dawn.
Will alternative history stay with us forever or was it temporary solution to solve balance issues?
Most players play on Allied planes (USA, Britain, USSR), its 5-6 times more than amount of players playing for Axis (even fewer amounts of players playing for Japan). If we want to have enemy for each Allied player, we have to use 'alternative history', because without it 60% of the players will be left out without an enemy to hunt for. Six months ago not every country was available for battle - two or three at most, and thanks to that everyone who would play for Germany could play almost all the time, while other countries will have to wait for their turn. Nowadays, players who play for the Germany don’t have to wait in queue and without alternative history and Korea map – allied players can spend hours in queues and there are 1000 or more people waiting in the queue.
Something needs to be changed one way or another. One of the best options would be “all-against-all” mode with enabled historical setup battles and/or dual nation battles. To not offend anyone we could put all of it in “Events”, but logically “To Battle” option should be available for everyone with minimum wait time.
Perhaps all/most of the maps will be enabled with Alternative History. This solution, even though is not the best one (still longer wait time than previous one plus there is no historical accuracy in it, same as in 'all vs. all' mode), but it keeps 'nation vs. nation' concept.
Is it planned to implement more HB maps for “Alternative History”?
Answer is above. We will see.
Will there be aircraft-scouts like a class that could 'light up' ground forces for aviation (with limit of time and amounts of 'light ups')?
Plane scout concept is an odd one. We won’t be doing it most likely. Airstrikes are coordinated by the ground forces.
Are there any plans to implement new maps of civil war in Spain, and series of mini-maps (like arcade ones) for HB and FRB like invasion of the Poland, Lake Hasan conflict, War in Finland, etc?
They are planned, yes (not all of the listed about yet, but sometime in future).
Will there be ability to remove external fuel tanks from the planes?
Fuel tanks were in the game on early stages of the project, but we decided to abandon the idea. But plane models have the possibility to install those (if it was done so historically). There is no need to use them in the game though.
If a bomber has an engine fire – it will be the end. He will burn out after 1 or 5 minutes (depends on the bomber). Will we have ability to turn off fuel income for the engine in HB with Mouse Aim?
Create a suggestion of the forum and we will look into that.
Do you plan to make fuel cost lions?
No
With implementation of the night battles will you implement lights on the plane?
Maybe
Will vehicle mass will be counted during bridge crossings? For example, Tiger II and IS-4 couldn’t cross every bridge due to structural limits of bridge.
We try to create realistic physics, but at the same time keep the 'game fun' intact. Things like bridge being destroyed because your tank is too heavy won’t be fun for everyone.
Will the tank hull stay on the battlefield after the tank has been destroyed, will we be able to use it as a shield or will it disappear?
At the moment tank hulls disappear because battlefield turns into junkyard very fast. What will be in the future – we will see.
Will the snow cover depth influence the tank behaviour? Will there even be the snow cover depth in the game?
Different ground will influence the tank behaviour.
Will you implement mine fields and a means to destroy them?
Not on the first stage. Too early to talk about it yet.
Could there be functional pillboxes (they are empty at the moment)?
Maybe. We will see.
Armament.
Will we be able to control AA guns on tanks that have them?
We are deciding on the options of combat cooperation of the tanks and the planes in the game.
When we will be able to command our gunners to reload their guns?
Soon :). Don’t forget to put a suggestion on the forums.
Will we have a counter for the ammunition like we have fuel counter and height control?
We are deciding on the ammunition counter still. It’s hard to unify it because not all the planes had this in the cockpits.
Others.
Map in the browser – will it be kept like this or will it be improved upon or maybe even its functionality will be cut down, since some people think that this is a cheating thing? There are things that are not available for the player in usual conditions, for example the ammo count.
It will be improved upon. We like the idea.
Is it possible to have mode (event) where team with Mouse Aim and arcade setup will fight against the team with realistic controls?
No.
Are you planning to improve functionality of the replays?
Yes we are, together with tournament functionality.
