I have some answers:
1.Dedicate with your capacity and enjoy it on your requirement
2.Work as effectively as possible, get the result as much as you need
3.Devote all your ability, enjoy all you need.
5. Giving your capacity, getting your demand.
To dam_is_life: No polistic here or your topic will be locked, every people here are not having knowledge enough to discuss about the policy of that.

Atleast you must accept the reality and work under the rule of this forum, no one gonna kill you,but if you're trying to live with the Western styles that's your problem. If you keep on talking about polistic your nick may be banned. And that's not the thing we like. do you understand?

dam_is_life
06-03-2004, 10:45

Cigar
07-03-2004, 22:35
In West social, they also learn about Marx's theory..but may be they cut some part of it.
Dam is life..may be we can talk whatever we want..but this forum not for only VN..we have many friends around the world, they are VNmese but they grow up under another culture, another sight of social.
About your question,it's not wrong, just the favourite sentence,I think it's ok..

sorry, it is still not right, or more exactly it is not what I read, written out and printed in textbooks. HIx, if you all are older than the author, maybe your sentence will be printed in that textbook instead. 'cause this sentence is super-chuoi!!

dam_is_life
13-03-2004, 02:14
here is the sentence, I have found it, not in the dustbin luckily:" FRom each according to his ability, to each according to his needs"> Would u understand it without any assumed previous knowledge?

kefka
14-03-2004, 17:38
sound like a prediction from the future :)) or my english isn't good enough to understand
where on the hell you get this ??? dam

dam_is_life
15-03-2004, 02:05
from Economics explained, do u have to study Politics-Economics(!), I think u could get something intriguing out of this subject by reading other source. Otherwises, it would drive me bored to the bone. Maybe partly I am so so lazy, hix and like dishing out criticism.

kefka
16-03-2004, 21:05
you're first year ??? was you studying at Economics university ? i'm your senior :)) , show me some respect :))
dont worry , you still have a bunch of stupid subject right ahead : :))
-Social society
-Social science
....
-the sixth in my list below :))

dam_is_life
23-03-2004, 09:54
okay, u seem experienced, ..er I wonder if y have any advice for me: I feel asleep during these lessons all the time. And it is not lovely for a girl to do that, ryt? ( bating eyelids ehm`). Hic, but I realize that lecturers, particularly CNXH lecturer, has a very attractive voice. He reminds me of my mother's lullaby

kefka
23-03-2004, 11:50
i dunno , i think you should rely on your pride , i have a girlfriend who has never crawl on the table even it's the borest subject , when i ask her where did her power come from , i get this answer : " cause i'm a lady " :))
never do i want to be girl , i like to sleep on table whenever i love to :))

bout the subject , just skip them as much as you want , i need half a day to finish them before the exam , those simple mind writer cannot do something better than : " công nghiệp hoá hiện đại hoá là mục tiêu hàng đầu trong thiên niên kỉ mới .... " etc

dam_is_life
25-03-2004, 04:25
oai`, I don't have as much flourished inmagination..so I try to copy the style, tone hichic, so girls are more vigiliant than boys? hey such good idea? But then why do I still keep falling asleep - > oai`,I am not a lady!! That may be true

kefka
26-03-2004, 16:32
I am not a lady!! That may be true => and that may be sure :))

there are many benefits when you being a lady , one among them is you have more chance to get kissed :)) , now do you want to become such a girl like that ?

dam_is_life
29-03-2004, 01:59
a 'lady" girl? uhm, don't care, won't make much change to my life, he`he` can I deduce that u have kissed a lot of ladies and lady is easier to kiss than not-lady. OOps then I don;t want to be a lady.

kefka
29-03-2004, 09:31
you're smart ... opps i mean you're missing your biggest chance , kissing teacher like me wasn't found everyday on the street , you will regret it someday :)) -or everyday :))
lady-like girl are more attractive to me , dont' know why , maybe because of the feeling of protecting them ?

Chrono
29-03-2004, 16:58
lady-like girl ? what 's the heck of girl ?
o mean a weak girl that easy to be hurt or sth like ?

dam_is_life
30-03-2004, 08:20
oai`, lady-like: kefka's definition= docile, sophisticated ( untimely), stay vigiliant all the time( in order not to fall asleep during lesson), let him kiss ( oach! - no comment). Hic, kefke I think no girl would like to be a lady like that

kefka
30-03-2004, 09:56
nope , at least one :)) although she never ask me for kiss but i know she wants it :)) , you and her have many things in common , dam :x

bout the definition , it's short and still make sense , i hate to use long phrase to express a girl like dam do

Chrono
31-03-2004, 15:44
you 're gonna tame her , i could see it :)) .. i think there're many girl that are "lady" with all characterists as kelf say except "let him kizz " , me instead :)) .. i like girls soft & tender sometimes i want them dynamic & talkative dunno wich one to choose ?

ipridian_elf
01-04-2004, 21:17
hmm.... a topic about translation ... turning to politics (but hidden under the term of "philosophy" the so-called "science of sciences" by kefka .....) .... and then to girls .... I'm wondering if it won't turn out to discussion about george bush

By the way, dam_is_life, you can't talk about what you want, or you're refusing to comply with the Warsaw Treaty (applicable for all forums, just look in the Terms and Condition .... which I can say you didn't even read)

kefka
02-04-2004, 22:00
we didn't intend to do that , but there's no material for the translation so ... :X
G.B junior => stupid as the stupid does ( " Forest Gump " ) :))
Warsaw Treaty => what the hell is this ? 've never heard of it :))

dam_is_life
03-04-2004, 08:35
" I can't talk about what I want"--> I should talk what I am supposed to talk -> ho*, so what is the point of talking here, when the talkers can't tell what they want to tell...

kefka
03-04-2004, 19:21
is that so ? mwa ha ha , you're still this naive ?
there's nothing i can't tell , like this :
dam , i'm starting to realize that i have some deeply emotion with you , i tried to hide it away , but even a noble man's pride have some cracks so i'm confessing it to you now .... i love you from the first time i see you , my sweetie , will you be my girl ? will you go with me through the rest of my life ? ...

dam_is_life
05-04-2004, 02:30
oach what the hell is it, "lost in translation"!
By the way, stop playing tit and tat with me, kefke, it is silly, or am I wrong?

kefka
05-04-2004, 21:44
:)) , i'm try to show my feeling and you say it's silly ??? :(( make me sad :))

stop playing tit and tat => i would be glad to do babysitting , especially when the baby is you :))

ipridian_elf
07-04-2004, 10:02
lost in translation <=== hmmm seems familiar to me .. is that a film ?

Warsaw treaty <=== if u haven't heard of it, then I can say that u haven't read any lines of the Terms and Conditions of the 4rum (which u should have read and accept to be able to register ur nick <_< a moderator which haven't read that hmmmm... bad mod)

dam_is_life
07-04-2004, 12:22
there is nothing wrong with my nick, so don't waste time picking holes. My nick, simply put, life is a dam...and there is nothing wrong with a little cute dam..As a matter of fact, I misspelled and so it did not turn out like it should have been, but everybody sees what I meaned and that is so wonderful.. hi`hi`

kefka
07-04-2004, 17:26
to tell the truth , when i first see your nick , i think your some kind of dam's builder :)) who waste all the life working on those agriculture instruments :))
lost in tranlation ???? similar to " lost in space " the movie , i think :))

elf , must because i have joined this forum from it early day , at that time those treaty dosen't exist yet :)) , i'm retired now and dont' want any relation to mod , so keep me away from them , ok ?

"Lam theo nang luc huong theo nhu cau". Not hard to translate it, but what way do u want me translate? (Normal communicated words, economics jargon or idiom? Lol
By normal way, i can say "do as your ability, go to the demand", "try by your best, do to your goal"
Economics jargon "reach the capacity, focus on demand".
About idiom, i have no ideas. Lol. What's your answer? I don't know how u wanna translate (who talks to whom? in which situation?)

Duy_Tran
08-04-2004, 20:20
there is nothing wrong with my nick, so don't waste time picking holes. My nick, simply put, life is a dam...and there is nothing wrong with a little cute dam..As a matter of fact, I misspelled and so it did not turn out like it should have been, but everybody sees what I meaned and that is so wonderful.. hi`hi`

So ur life is damn or dam? Dam is life if as u said, it'd be wonderful meaning, otherwise...
Anyway, what do u think about "dam is life"? Maybe u should put it 2 a new topic 4 everybody can discuz... =D>

dam_is_life
09-04-2004, 14:32
First, I have given the answer to the challenge, you must review more carefully, sir, look before you leap; second, what is the idiom you are refering to; thirdly don't be so rigid, it doesn't necessarily mean my life or whoever, it is life cest' la vie; forthly I am not an object for criticism
I haven't seen " lost in translation" but I heard and thought it would be of great appeal to me. It tells sth about a man, who could not communicate his ideas, just like me and most, ah no, some hichic, nowadays

Duy_Tran
09-04-2004, 16:02
" FRom each according to his ability, to each according to his needs " You meant this sentence, right? dun b foolish here, gl! If u say it 2 s.o who not studying economics, they'll consider u stupidly mad. If u wanna challenge translation, let it be so easy 4 every1 2 understand in every situations. Dun try 2 b so smart with famous saying.
1 more, i didn't critic anything about u yet, so dun let me get a bias 2 u fr ur quote.

dam_is_life
10-04-2004, 09:39
ho*, no one has considered me mad or what, and I have never had any idea of showing off or what, and if what I want to offer sth easy, does it make sense to challenge. I just want sth tricky, and just for fun
and I myself can't understand what u want to say, would u please write words in their full and normal form, can't make out what u mean after all....oai`

Duy_Tran
10-04-2004, 12:24
Just read it, sometimes i'm lazzy 2 write full words, it just waste of my time. I usually use this way 2 take note in class. It was really helpful 4 me 2 catch all things wat the teacher tried 2 show. (2 = to or too, just depends on situations, 4 = for)

Duy_Tran
10-04-2004, 12:28
More: b = be, dun = don't, n = and, fr = from, > = greater or more, < = less, + = increase or develop, - = decrease or down... there r some more, but i could not remember them now. U can try it.

ipridian_elf
11-04-2004, 20:17
yeah ... u don't have to explain all of ur tricks to us .... i think we already knew how to write that way ... but the longer the better, and the more MP you get ;) don't forget that man ... and maybe there is a minority in the forum who can't understand those ... babbles of u.

_____to kefka : sozy pal, didn't see the Quy An Giang Ho thingy under ur avatar. My apologies  Still remember me ? coz it's been a while i haven't been logging in here

kefka
11-04-2004, 21:34
you shouldn't use too much abbreviations , that makes reader think that you don't respect them , my teacher usually told me not to write " i'm " but " I am " :)) . More and more people use english in taking note , i dont' know why , like this : quyển sách của tôi => quyển sách of tôi :)) , i dont' think it's faster , just some show off thing :))
elf , i do remember you , i thought i would set you at FI box mod after i'm retied , but it's not a very nice place any more , maybe you will blamed me in the future , so i quit it :)) , anyway , you sure got nice knowledge on those early final fantasy games :))

Duy_Tran
12-04-2004, 07:49
@ ipridian_elf: i've never thought that i would write as long as i can 2 get more MP or EXP here. N the way i use 2 type here is just normal in chat, any1 can understand it easily. 1st time when i've seen some friends using this way, it's just a surprise but not 2 hard 2 understand them if we just take a little bit brainstorming.

@ kelfa: I think the way ur teacher taught u had some troubles man. It's the way 4 beginners in studying Eng using 2 talk. Do u know how to say "ss", is it pronounced as "Z", rite? N if u wanna say "This is my book" by a normally polite way, u have to say "Thizz my book", dun use "This is" 2 emphasize it; coz the listener would think that u r so rude or think that they wanna rob ur book. Moreover, it's also similar it when u ask "Is it my book?", dun never say all, if u wanna talk like an Eng speaker, u should say as fast as u can by "Zzit my book?" they can understand u. That's they way i usually hear Eng speaker using.

dam_is_life

well, I don't understand and if teamwork spirit still works (!) please write in full, moreover, I don't think this is a chat room. Otherwise, why nobody call it like that?, please make ur posting as pleasing to eyes as possible

Duy_Tran
12-04-2004, 20:17
Hix, 2 (too) lazzy 2 (to) write full words like this... Y (why) iz't (isn't) it not a chat room? It's just a form of chat room, we post our quotes 2 talk n (and) discuz. If u dun (don't) want it, i'll leave here. It's much better 4 (for) all.

Hix, i'm in holidays, just spend most of my time 2 play xiangqi, reading news n posting some funny stuffs here. It's 2 long 2 wait 4 a reply. Have u got a YM? My one is quangduy_tr_nz, i'm waiting 2 chat with u there!

translation was more than a skill , it's a talent , have you ever compare two translation work of two different persons ? i've read two translated book : " love story " from 2 diff authors and it's sound like and master piece and a some gabbage :)) , i've read the book in English too and i even think that the Vietnamese translators do better than than origin author , don't know why , maybe because of our meaningful language ?
have anyone read " love story " or watch the movie ? tch , Jenny was nice baby , too bad that's she 's only novel character

ipridian_elf
21-04-2004, 21:52
