If this topic is opened, I think only some "real" of Anime_Manga fans come here! Bluelion and Hikari, and maybe I am becoming a Manga fan! I read some Manga like "Bt'X", "Rurouni Kenshin", "Saint Seiya",... and I was attracted so much. I like its pictures within Manga. Its character are cute with big eyes, long hair. However, I get some trouble with Anime. In HCM, I cannot find shops which has Anime CD to buy.

I just take mangas with powerful stories, and powerful characters. My favourite character must be a man with manly face, not looks like girl. Formerly, I read many comics book from the Europe, sometimes I took the manga such as Tsubasa, Dragon Ball Z. Today, I'm really interested in Slam Dunk, and Kyo: The Demon Eyes.

I begin now:
I don't know anime and manga alot..if you like them..please ask Hikary almasy..he will show you his skill(but I wonder why he like Candy so much???)
I feel regret but I must say:I not expert about manga,the manga I like best is very common;Dragon Ball(if you allow me to call taht the manga:))).
Songoku was the naughty boy,he have the mission from saya Planet:scourt and conquere the earth..but the accident happened..and he lost all his mind.
The old man named SonGohan rescue him and give he the name:Songoku.
I can't tell you all,but all of you had already read it,right??
This is the very long story,and we have many many things to talk..I will come back soon.
You know three kingdoms...this fiction have only 120 part..but we can discuss about it year to year.
Hope all of you work well.
I busy now..I will come to this box very often after 10_1.Thanks../.

Now I pay less attention about Anime and Manga :rolleyes:, I just do with some violent manga.
Candy? Don't mention this name any more :D, it makes me sick. You know, when Tsubasa part 2 was on publishing, Candy was the one behide the last-part of a Tsubasa book. At a few first times, Candy just placed in several pages, but it more and more increase its pages until the book was considered as a "Candy Book" >_<. Besides, this manga style makes me sick, they draw the male characters look like females, I hate that!

you hate Candy...yep the same with me,I can't read it,I feel it's not my favourite..the story so sad,and so"sen"...did you think taht??
When I was 16...the book named the famous detective..and now it have the name:Conan,have the same status like it...they bring the manga:ninku there>_<..the picture was very ugly,the story so boring,but I must cost 3000 to buy that book..because I like Conan so much...

Conan 43 no best. it is badly conan 42. I don'n like conan 43. I like pictures book "Jinđô". It see comic and funny. I like Shaman king too. But it haven't "xuất bản nữa" hic hic.

So far I like Inuyasha the best (you can tell that from my avatar ^^) Inuyasha rock =D>, Detective Conan's just okay, there are plenty of detective novel that way succeed this comic in anyway (too bad they ain't in pictures [-( ). Dbz is kinda shallow but still it is fun to read or watch. I'm not really in the anime/manga stuff so I can't talk much about it. By the way what Hank Huynh mentioned is true, I think manga for girls alway confusing with the character's sex, you can't really tell unless you read the book and the story sometimes are really gay (one time I read a comic book about a relationship between 2 gay guys :-& ).

I like Inuyasha better when he's still evil ^^ that's why my avatar is evil Inuyasha (not really evil but more of arrogance). Anyway what are you talking about ? Inuyasha manga and anime streak are still being published in Japan so the reason why Kim Dong publisher stop publish it may be because they decided not to (does't matter to me though because I have been download Inuyasha for a while =D>)

Inuyasha???I think it's not good...The half of Ramma is better..
But I see the picture in that manga looks beautiful..I like Yaho best...when she dressed the ninja suit..she looks so beutiful..but her monster is quite ugly..if I was the author..I will let it become a dragon.
Magic:not very beutiful..the mage have only one deadly magic:Wind Cave(hang gio')..i wish the author create more magic to see:x:x
Inuyasha:looks like a girl...I must have time to accept that he was the man,he he he

well, you guys must read Great Teacher Onizuka ( aka GTO ), that's the bomb man, the bomb. But you have to be over 16 in oder to read it. It's finished with 25 volumes, quite short for a manga and VERY short for fans like me. I haven't finish the series yet because it's only finished in Japan, it's English version ( Tokyopop is publishing it ) is still going but very slow, 1 volume in 2 months. Some people say that Tokyopop's translation sucks ( I'm one of them :D ) so Fans begin to translate it themselves and it's much better and the quality is Great for manga scans. The Anime GTO is quite good but it goes only halfway compare to the Manga version and also end quickly. But over all GTO is Great, a ass kicking manga - I must say. It's extremly funny, fast moving and almost instantly appealing. Try to read it and 99% of you guys will NOT regret to buy it !

You can come to Takishop. They have many manga and anime.
I think every manga or anime have the differences from the others. So it's hard to say that which is the best, you just can say which is u like best. I like Detective Conan vẻy much >:-D<

well, to be honest my friend, and I mean no offensive but I can't read everything you write but I "think" I get your point. I just want to tell you guys about this Manga, and the reason it's not published in VN and it WILL NOT because it's too rude, it's hillarious but those jokes are rude, that's why only Older Teens can read it (16+). As I told you before, you could get MAnga Scan from the internet, using mIRC, I can't remember the sever so you guys better search for it. In that server, you can download tons of mangas including GTO. Good Luck :D

talking about rude stuff, In VN, I remember there is alot of newspapers saying Manga is scum and doesn't fit for children about 6,7 years old, even Doraemon. Ofcourse, it's not for kids THAT age for Christ's sake. Each manga has a suitable age for it own. Same about game, "adults" ( they are rather childish ) say that games are too violence, kids shouldn't play it. Man, go to hell, games also have rating for age. They just don't know and It's bloody irritating. For example: counter-strike are NOT for KIDS under 11

Read CCS, we know something more about life, know about family, friendship, heartfelt & full care; about love is not sweet words or tears, feel happy when my lover happy; learn how to be in love with something don't have emotion or somebody strange;... Empty in content? I would not be so quick to say that if I were you. Have you ever watched any of Ghibli's products? Such as Mononoke no Hime, of Spirited Away, or Kiki's Delivery Service, or, for the older ones, Laputa- Castle in the sky? They all have stories and contents that suit children, and, at the same time, there are deep meanings that are suitable even for adults. And I heard that Spirited Away won the Oscar's Award of best cartoon.
And that's about anime. There are also a lot of manga with "depth", for example, Rurouni Kenshin - my favourite, or X1999 (unfortunately, these two are extremely violent, especially X1999). So are most of yaoi/ shounen-ai (manga about homosexuality), especially those of CLAMP and Kaori Yuki. I like their works a lot.
And, of course, we can't forget about Doraemon, can we?

I wonder why no one has mentioned The Wonderful World of Disney yet? A great selection in the library of Disney for you guys to choose from such as Finding Nemo, Lilo and Stich 1&2, The Lion King, and much more. Those are the ones that have great education facors, and they are extremely fun to watch with friends, young-age relatives. Beside, it takes more efforts and money to make those compare to most Japanese animes which are usually empty in term of contexts and contents.

True, most Disney animations can be called educational purpose. Its violence portrays in the animation is nothing but a joke to make kids laugh. Teens don't like that and thus this is where Japanese anime comes in. While there are anime for kids, most anime are aimed at teenagers. Love, struggle in life, ambition are a few themes exploited in anime. However, you have to remember that those anime with such themes are TV shows like Power Rangers in the States.

Anime that shows in theater like Finding Nemo, Lion King of Disney are the ones previously mentioned by Bluelion: Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, ect. They are equally with Disney's, if not excel more in term of culture beliefs.

In the end, it's just a matter of taste, actually.

About your questions, Im afraid there isn't a site where you can download Samurai Deeper Kyo anymore, it is licensed. The only way (I hope) to download it now by Mirc.

It talks about the shinobi and a lot of thing about it. But this week it don`t published anymore , i do`nt know why because in narutofan.com there have chapter 205 ( or something like that , i don`t remember exactly ) but in VN manga it just have 165, and the man who take care about this book say that the writer didn`t have time to write more, don`t know.

i agree with you ! I like naruto so much , too. I think the man who take care about this book is lying everybody , don't belive him ! in Japane , naruto was finished and was published all , because in VN , publisher haven't bought "bản quyền" yet , so they lie you that the writter of naruto didn't have time to write more . ha ha but don't worry , some months late , i guess naruto will be published !

But in my opinion, reading Naruto there is not a problem but if u want to read again u must turn on the computer to, In naruto Manga u can eating while reading ( ^^ so funny ) and enjoy the book pace to pace , very interesting.
_Ah, after fight with Orochimaru , a lot of thing `ll happen , very exciting, Sasuke `ll envy with Naruto and they `ll fight with each orther, Sasuke `ll use "Thiên Điểu" and Naruto `ll use "Rasegan" , .....^^

I think that we have readed a lot of book form our child hood until there..and many famous novels to talk about.
For example:thep da toi the day_read it and understand the spirit of the true man,the poor worker,but he fight until the end for his purpose...he's Pavel.
I like the action and the thinking of Pavel,all of them are for good purpose,or in the others way..it's so fragnancy.

He he,anime not impress me much..
And I use to think about them as the good looking books with full of beutiful picture inside.But the root is empty.
but I changed my mind since I readed "Ryunu Kenshin" I can see many things within it.
The tragedy of Seta as a orphan,the spirit of Kenshin to protect the weak...
Hard to explain,I hate it when I saw it at the first time,but when I began to read,my opinion changed very quickly..

Inu Yasha: Yes, best anime, best music, did you know a lot of its music were sang by a lot of singers who known all over the world.( I love Every Heart by BOA).
