Hey, so you saw ghosts, right? Many people told me that they saw ghosts, but I've never seen them before, so I don't believe in that. A friend of mine who live in U.S told me that some Americans saw ghosts in an empty house, and they have a real video tape 'bout ghosts in that house. However, I don't believe it, I think ghosts are just a product of people's imagination.

How can we say yes or no 100% about this problem? I agree with Temptation Island that there is no sciencetific evidence about ghosts existence, but there is also no sciencetific evidence to conclude that there is no ghost. In fact, in the major of cases seeing ghosts, the problems are our eyes and imagination, but how about the minor left? In theories, sciencetists suggest that ghosts live in another dimension, not 3-ordinary dimensions of our world, only when these dimensions attach together, some special people with special ability can see ghosts.

Ông Oliver Fischer Winchester, Lieutenant Governor of Connecticut (phó thống đốc tiểu bang Connecticut), giám-đốc đầu tiên của Winchester Repeating Arms Company kết-hôn với bà Jane Ellen Hope sinh được 3 con: Ann Rebecca, William Wirt Winchester, là giám-đốc thứ nhì từ 1837-1881 là chồng bà Sarah, người chủ ngôi nhà huyền-bí mà ta đang nói đến và con thứ ba là Hannah Jane. Chồng bà Hannah Jane là Thomas Gray Bennett là giám-đốc thứ tư của Công-ty, từ 1890-1910 và thứ 7 từ 1918-1919. Con trai của Thomas Gray Bennett và Hannah Jane, Winchester Bennett là giám-đốc thứ 6 từ 1915-1918. (Giám đốc = President)

Về gia-thế bà Winchester Lockwood Sarah được nói đến như sau:

Ông Leonard Pardee kết hôn cùng bà Sarah W. Burns, là cha mẹ bà Sarah, chủ một công-ty sản xuất dụng-cụ chuyên-chở, sinh được: 1- Sarah E. 2- Mary A. kết hôn cùng William Converse, là giám-đốc thứ ba từ 1881-1890, 3- Antoinette E. 4- Leonard 5- Sarah Lockwood Pardee, người chủ ngôi nhà, 6- Isabell C. lấy ông Lewis Merriman và con cuối cùng là Estelle L.

Bà Sarah “nhập đoàn với các quí-hữu” của mình vào ngày 5 tháng 9 năm 1922, một cái chết yên lành ở tuổi 82 trong khi ngủ vì đứng tim trong phòng ngủ chính của bà trên một chiếc giường với khung bằng gỗ, phía trên đầu nằm có một khung dài và cao rất đặc-biệt. Bà được ang-táng tại Nghĩa-trang Evergreen (Evergreen Cemetery) ở New Haven, Connecticut, bên cạnh chồng và con. Bà để lại tài sản cho chị em bà cùng các cháu, dành một số tiền lớn cho Winchester Clinic của General Hospital Society of Connecticut để điều-trị và chăm-sóc cho những người bị bịnh lao. Bệnh-viện này tồn-tại đến nay, là một phần của Trung-Tâm Y-Khoa Yale New Haven, Connecticut.

Chỉ đến khi bà qua đời, tiếng búa mới ngừng trong suốt 38 năm xây-dựng, 24 giờ mỗi ngày kể từ ngày khởi công. Phần lớn căn nhà chưa hoàn-tất vào ngày bà qua đời. Điều đáng tiếc là không có đồ đạc nào trong nhà là nguyên-thủy cả. Đồ đạc của bà được bỏ ra bán đấu-giá cả. Lúc đó, 3/ 4 căn nhà được trang-bị đồ-đạc, người dọn nhà phải dùng đến 6 chuyến xe vận-tải mỗi ngày trong vòng 6 tuần rưỡi mới dọn hết đồ ra khỏi nhà. Tất cả các động-sản này được bán bởi Union Trust Company of San Francisco, công-ty được ủy-thác của bà.

Một vài điều cần biết khi đến xem ngôi nhà này.

Sau khi đậu xe tại parking miễn phí trong khu-vực của tòa nhà hay phía đối-diện của đường Winchester Boulevard, quan khách mua ticket vào cửa tại Gift shop, giá ticket vào cửa như sau:

- Trẻ em (từ 6 đến 12 tuổi): $8.95 cho 1 lần và $35.00 cho cả năm.
- Người lớn (từ 13 đến 64 tuổi): $14.95 cho 1 lần và $36.00 cho cả năm.
- Người già (trên 65 tuổi): $11.95 cho 1 lần và $36.00 cho cả năm.

Trong ticket có ghi số chuyến (tour) của mình. Trong khi chờ đợi đến tour mình, quan khách có thể xem các vật trưng-bày trong Gift shop, mua quà lưu-niệm tại đây hoặc ra ngoài ngồi đợi trên các bộ ghế lộ-thiên dưới các tàng cây mát-mẻ, có thể vào Cafe shop nằm cạnh Gift shop với snack hay các thức uống. Quan khách cũng có thể tham quan khu vườn với các loại hoa được chăm bón kỹ lưỡng. Khi đến tour mình ghi trên ticket, hệ-thống loa thông-báo sẽ mời quí khách vào cửa (nên nhớ là không có loa thông-báo đến tour tại khu vườn hoa, do đó phải độ chừng khi nào gần đến tour mình, nên vào đợi trong Gift shop hay ngồi ở các ghế chờ). Tại cửa vào cũng có đèn báo tour đang đi. Khi đến tour mình, vào cửa quan khách phải xuất-trình ticket cho nhân-viên kiểm-soát.

Không được hút thuốc, ăn uống, nhai kẹo cao-su trong lúc đi xem. Không được bước ra khỏi đường trải thảm trên lối đi hay vượt các dây chắn lối, cũng không được dựa vào tường. Đi theo nhóm của mình, mỗi nhóm khoảng từ 15 đến 20 người. Tour lâu khoảng 65 phút, do một hướng-dẫn viên dẫn đi. Cùng một lúc có hai tour, cách nhau khoảng 30 phút. Đến mỗi chỗ đặc-biệt, hướng-dẫn viên dừng lại, dẫn-giải các chi-tiết cần biết cho quan khách. Sau khi họ nói, quan khách có quyền nêu thắc-mắc của mình hay muốn hỏi thêm chi-tiết. Nếu dẫn theo trẻ con, xin giử chúng và đừng để chúng làm ồn hay làm phiền người khác. Nếu cần thông-dịch lại cho người khác, xin nói nhỏ và tốt nhất nên lùi lại phía sau đoàn. Chú ý đến bước chân mình vì có những cầu thang bậc bước rất thấp, không giống cầu thang bình-thường. Quan khách có thể chụp hình, quay phim tùy thích, không cấm.

Ngoài việc đi xem ngôi nhà này ra, chúng ta còn được xem hàng trăm vật triển lãm trong Gift shop, nhất là nhiều loại súng trường Winchester và rất nhiều đồ cổ, những dụng-cụ xây-cất, các skateboard, kềm búa, cưa kéo, dụng-cụ làm vườn, các tài-liệu liên-quan đến ngôi nhà, card postal, ...

Hiện nay, ngôi nhà này do thành-phố San Jose quản-lý, tu-bổ và bảo-trì để cho du-khách đến thăm viếng, là địa-danh lịch-sử số 868 của tiểu-bang California, là một nơi du-lịch nổi tiếng của thành-phố San Jose, được bảo-tồn như một di-tích lịch-sử quốc-gia, còn là một trong các trung-tâm du-lịch của liên-bang, được ghi danh vào Sổ Địa-Danh Lịch-Sử Quốc-Gia vào năm 1974. Các bảng quảng-cáo cho ngôi nhà này được dựng tại các xa-lộ liên-bang I-680, I-280, I-101 để du-khách có thể dễ dàng nhận thấy.

I dont think so, no need to find such nonsense thing like this, ghost. Ghost is nothing to someone don't belive but a nightmares with those beleive. when I was a child I also believed that, but now I don't know why someone fear ghost or believe that ghost does exist.

Yeah, the ghost only exist in the legend and in book or movie. And in real life, many people think that ghost is the unfounded rumors in the many.
Ghost in scientists' thought maybe the funny and very silly stories! And they can come into cemetery and dig some places or do something the same to prove that ghosts never exist besides the fiction world of writers or film-makers!!
But the image of the ghosts may be very scared or some very funny! The disgusting and horrible corpses or some nice girls died of unjustly evils. After died, they change their appearane and do harmful to everyone they meet. And some help people! And that's all for ghosts in films or books.
The soul after dead, maybe i and most of you dont believe that. But we can't also prove anything about the existance of the soul of dead!
But if there are ghost really, i think they only live in their own world and never come into ours. Hope so!

Ghost still exist if you are a timid persion, I think. Because if you are a timid persion, when you do something, you always think someone are looking you, suddenly something make noise, very noise and then you......hi....hi.....hi very affraid of ghost. When I was a child I'm a timid persion too. When I pass throught a dark place I fell...... :-& :-& Just thinking about it make me shiver
But when you grought up, you fell nothing can make you affraid, yeh, I'm too.
When I was 6 years old I sleeped alone, it true, I sware.
If you still a timid persion, I recommend you should watch alot of film monster. I think it's a best way to cure your timid. Let try it or listen radio about the ghost story :-? I forgot the frequency of radio, let me find late or some one know the frequency should show for everyone who still a timid perrsion.

Ghost,or demon...they are may be not exist in our world,but ghost or something else like that,being produce by human's imagine,it's not means that they can draw them,if people do some dirty work in their life,they have sins,and ghost apear from the dark side ofg their soul.

Ghost? LOL, When I was a little boy, i had heard lots of stories about ghost, that give me lots of scare too. I always imagine about the stories that they had told. then now im a man, I think that there's no ghost on earth, but I believe that there's something strange that wont be able to explain by science. I can tell you some source of ghost:
In the hospital-->in 1840s,their was a big plague,and it spread to all cities,milions peole come to the hospital to receive their last days of life in the dirty and narrow place..they died all,the doctors..scare of death let them to that status.
In the prison:After the civil war,the prisoner summoned in the dirty prison,and they have to choices:hang their self or being chop down by the Head Pyramid(Dao Phu)..the head pyramid used to wash their sword in the grand marsh,and it's where the ghost appear..
I read them in Fan Fiction:))
